Lexi's Birthday

It has been awhile, can I just say Christmas season, that should make sense to everyone. Well we have a 3 year old in our house. Lexi's birthday was on Dec. 1st and she was so excited for her big day. We had some friends come over for a little party. They had a great time playing Duck Duck Goose, red light green light and pretending they were butterflies. That was the theme of the party, Butterflies. I made the cake along with cupcakes and they turned out pretty cute.
I love this picture because they look so cute. (They are getting so big!)
Then after the little friends went home, Grandpa and Grandma, Alex and Averi came for the party. We had a lot of fun especially Lexi.
Funny story--I wasn't sure if Lexi's cousin were going to come so when Lexi asked if they were coming I would say, "I'm not sure, I hope so" and then she would inform me that they were coming. As Lexi and Averi were playing on the floor with the toys, Lexi yelled to me, (in a very I told you so voice, "See mom, I told you Averi was coming!!"

Thanksgiving Time!!

Thanksgiving was great!! We were with Phil's family and this was the 1st year that it was just his immediate family. We were hoping to celebrate Thanksgiving with the whole Johansen clan, however, it didn't work out that way. It was a fun day and the kids love hanging out with their cousins.
That night we went and stayed with my family. Phil went four-wheeling with Troy the day after Thanksgiving. So we got to hang out at Grandma and Grandpa Buchanan's. These pictures are of the kids waiting for their Grandparents to wake up!!
Lexi had a great time playing with cousin, Averi.
Garrett loved Uncle Richard helping him build things with Legos.
